Bostonair welcomes new Director of Aviation

Andrew Parker

Andrew Parker has been appointed to the new role of Director of Aviation at Bostonair Group. Andrew will lead all aspects of the aviation business which covers recruitment services, line maintenance and technical training. He will be responsible for the daily operation and delivering the strategic development of the business.

Andrew was educated at Tonbridge School and went on to read French and Italian at the University of Portsmouth before taking up his first employment at GB Airways in 2001. He fulfilled a number of roles at the airline including flight crew resource manager, crew control and operations control. Andrew left the airline in 2008 to join Monarch in a similar capacity. In 2012 Andrew was promoted to Head of Operations where he was responsible for the safe, efficient and punctual delivery of the airline’s operation.

Andrew will take up the post on 15th January where he will work alongside the other directors Mark Parkes (Group Managing Director), Adam Sumner (Group Finance Director) and Kevin Ellis (Group Commercial Director). He will be based from the company’s head office in Beverley.
