Bostonair Ireland is looking for a Safety Manager & Compliance Auditor.

This would be a permanent direct hire position based in Dublin, Ireland, offering competitive salary & benefits.

The Safety Manager shall have relevant knowledge, background and satisfactory experience related to ICAO standards and EASA requirements on safety management, and an understanding of compliance monitoring system of the EASA part 145 regulations.

Requirements

• Hands on experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards, safety audits and safe operating practices

• Experience in the performance, planning and execution of safety and compliance audits in aviation environment

• Knowledge of ICAO standards and European (EASA) requirements on safety management;

• 5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position

• A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification

• Formalised training course at a level equivalent to Part-66 Appendix III Level 1

• Proven working knowledge of EASA Part-145, Part-M requirements and national regulations.

• Experience of working within the safety management system in aviation Part 145, Part M, AIR OPS environment is advantageous

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience of using computer maintenance programs.

• Previous safety experience such as safety reviews, hazard identification, safety risk assessments would be of a strong advantage

• Travel will be required between our second facility, permanent base can be in either Dublin or Shannon location
